Sep 24, 2025the solution for me was to force xcode to download a "universal" version of the ios 26 simulator rather than the default "apple silicon". Jul 1, 2025using xcode 26 i'm trying to add new "glass" app icons made with icon composer. Jun 10, 2025just downloaded xcode 26 and i see build fails despite metal toolchain 26.0 downloaded.
Dec 17, 2025recently, i've updated to macos 26.2 without knowing this would break compatibility with xcode 16.4, so i am forced to use xcode 26 to continue working on my project. Dec 10, 2025after updating to ios 26 and xcode 26, our app’s ui broke due to the new liquid glass redesign.
