I'm a newbie that is stumped on a particular fusible resistor. Jul 9, 2014it seems to me that starting a colour code for a resistor other than "0" with a black band would be pretty pointless (values less than 1 ohm have gold or silver multiplier) - the blue bands on. Feb 26, 2018the problem is that the resistor is distorted and all the gaps between the bands appear to be the same length so it's difficult to tell which end to start at when isung the color codes to work out.
